About the Job :

Driver / Delivery Responsibilities Include :

• Loads & Secures orders onto Eastern vehicles.
• Maintains Daily Truck logs including all safety and pre-trip checklists.
• Delivers orders to local customers and other Eastern Distribution Centers.
• Maintains phone or radio contact with the supervisor to communicate driver delivery instructions or updates.
• Inspects truck equipment & performs emergency roadside repairs when needed.

What We Need From You :

Education and / or Experience : High school diploma or GED; at least 6 months of related warehouse, forklift, and delivery driving experience; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations : Valid CDL, Class A Driver's License. Medical Certificate / Health Card following Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations, clean driving record.

Computer Skills : To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer knowledge and experience.

Location : You must live within a reasonable distance from the Distribution Center. This job is NOT remote and requires you to enter the center every workday. Road trips will be daily, no overnights.

Physical Ability : You must be able to lift up to 50lbs and perform functions such as crouching, kneeling, and balancing.
