Job description

Industrial Engineering Technical Lead

In this technical lead role you will :

  • Be an Industrial Engineering thought leader across the enterprise.
  • Develop and define NextGen Industrial Engineering processes and procedures in support of Advanced Development Programs (ADP).
  • Apply advanced Industrial Engineering concepts and techniques to analyze business processes to improve cost, schedule, staffing, and capacity across the Advanced Development Program line of business.
  • Interrogate data systems and look for opportunities to surface problems and drive improvements.
  • Drive process improvement efforts to include ensuring adoption and obtainment of intended results.
  • Train stakeholders and peers.

Basic Qualifications :

  • Experience monitoring and reporting metrics related to cost, schedule, staffing & capacity
  • Experience developing resource loaded plans or manpower scheduling
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Active Secret Clearance per business requirements
  • Desired Skills :

  • Bachelor's degree in an Industrial Engineering or science related discipline
  • Industrial Engineering experience
  • Certified in Production & Inventory Management (CPIM)
  • Excel Macros, Access database knowledge, digital production metric displays
  • Experience with SAP, 3DX, or Teamcenter
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation), particularly with Production Operations and Program Offices
  • Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize assignments
  • Aircraft Production Experience and / or New Production Line Experience and / or Part Fabrication Experience
  • Earned Value Management (EVM), an understanding of Schedule Performance Index (SPI) and Cost Performance Index (CPI)
  • Security Clearance Statement : This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level : Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years
