LocumJobsOnline is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Psychiatry MD in Michigan!

About The Position

We are currently seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist for Locum opportunity in Muskegon, MI

Start Date : As soon as credentialed!

Schedule :

  • Weekday coverage
  • Schedule : 8a-5p
  • Call Schedule : 5p-8a

Coverage Needed :

  • 8 / 26 to 9 / 19

    • Compensation : $250 an hour

    Position Overview :

  • Practice Setting :   Inpatient Psychiatric Department
  • Average Number of Patients Per Day : 12
  • Total Number of Beds : 27
  • Number of Psychiatrist in the Group : 5
  • Number of Advanced Practice Providers Support : 6
  • Number of Psychologists : 0
  • Locum Tenen Psychiatrist Required to Supervise Other Healthcare Providers : Yes, Psychiatric NP
  • Describe Referral / Transfer Protocol :  Referrals primarily coming from Muskegon and Grand Rapids EDs
  • Safety / Security Measures in Place :  Staff duress system, security on site 24 / 7
  • No pediatric patients
  • EMR : Epic
  • Estimated Credentialing Timeframe :  3 months but need ASAP

    Job Requirements

    Requirements :

  • Board Certified (Psychiatry)
  • Active MI License
  • BLS
  • Must be available to cover Mon-Fri for the open dates listed - REQUIRED, no exceptions
