Job Summary and Responsibilities

Registered Nurse - Orthopedic Acute

The Registered Nurse in Orthopedic Acute is responsible for coordinating comprehensive patient care for individuals on the orthopedic unit. This role involves assessing patient needs, interpreting clinical data, and providing age-specific care in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities :

• Coordinate total patient care for assigned individuals, ensuring a tailored and compassionate approach.
• Assess patient data, interpret clinical information, and deliver care specific to each patient's age and needs.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of growth and development principles across the lifespan.
• Support the Mission and Core Values of St. Bernardine Medical Center through professional conduct and high-quality care delivery.
• Contribute to the hospital’s strategic plan by participating in quality improvement and process enhancement activities.
