About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Counsel for Commercial to join their dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will be a strategic business partner, providing comprehensive legal support for commercial operations, with a focus on transactions involving a diverse range of customers. This role is critical in advising on complex legal issues, mitigating risk, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations in a highly regulated industry. The Senior Counsel will work directly with executives and associates at all levels, participate in leadership meetings, and support various business functions. Key responsibilities include structuring, writing, and negotiating agreements, as well as advising on regulatory, compliance, privacy, and litigation matters. Applicants must have a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school, active bar membership in at least one US jurisdiction, and a minimum of 6 years' commercial law experience in the medical device or life sciences industry. Experience in healthcare regulation, including fraud and abuse, FDA for medical devices, data use and privacy, and anti-corruption, is highly desirable. The role requires a proactive, solution-oriented approach to legal issues and the ability to work with specialist attorneys on a range of legal matters. The Senior Counsel will also be involved in continuous process improvement initiatives within the legal department.
