Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for recruiting a team of technicians upholding the skills and qualifications to carry out various types of services and repairs.
  • Direct and coordinate activities concerned with the production and distribution of company or customer-owned equipment including equipment rentals.
  • Review activity reports related to repairs, rentals, and other performance data to measure productivity and determine areas needing improvement.
  • Manage staff, prepare work schedules, and approve timecards.
  • Supervise technicians' performance and assign specific duties to ensure that servicing and repairs are completed quickly and efficiently.
  • Determine staff requirements, interview, hire, and provide training to new and preceding employees to keep the team's skills up to date and delivering a high standard of customer service.
  • Locate, select, and obtain rented equipment in addition to transferred equipment at different store locations.
  • Ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction by assisting customers and fulfilling customer requests as well as solving any problems by handling complaints or issuing compensation.

Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Three years' experience with hydraulic and electrical systems on construction and industrial equipment.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Valid DOT physical exam (or ability to obtain)
