Senior Financial Analyst
The Senior Analyst role is primarily responsible for coordinating, developing, and supporting tasks for the Senior Director, Financial Planning and Treasury. The position heavily involves operating budgets for various divisions, including both regular recurring reporting and ad hoc analyses related to planning and performance against both budget and trends.
What You'll Do
- Annual budget : Coordinate and support the development of budget materials for the company including presentation decks, financial details and related reconciliations as well as loading budget data into Oracle ERP financial system and Oracle ePBCS budgeting application.
- Projections and Forecasting : Using actual, budget, ongoing company initiatives and macroeconomic / market information, bridge current state financials to forward looking projections over various time increments (e.g. monthly, current year, next year, multi-year).
- Expense Reconciliation and Month End Closing : Responsibilities include developing and maintaining reports that reconcile staffing and vendor information for actual performance versus budget, tracking and processing accruals through the month-end close process, identifying and processing expense transfers, and preparing variance to budget narratives. A firm knowledge of accrual preparation is required.
- Ad Hoc Analysis & Reporting : The analyst will prepare ad hoc analysis assignments upon request for various senior-level stakeholders. This requires resourcefulness in gathering data from different sources, collaboration with colleagues, and clear communication of the output.
- Grant Analysis and Reporting : This involves preparing regular recurring cash reporting of grant funding agreements, ensuring proper accounting monthly, and conducting projection analysis to ensure grant spending satisfies project agreement requirements. Collaboration with various senior-level stakeholders is also necessary.
- Process and Procedures Documentation : Develop and maintain comprehensive process and procedures documentation, including live training and guidance, which covers core responsibilities and allows for cross training and coverage when needed. Be proactive in seeking workflow improvements and finding efficiencies; this would include the use of AI wherever possible.

Who We're Looking For
5+ years in financial planning and accounting experience in a similar business environmentKnowledge of Oracle fusion or other corporate accounting financial systems; experience with Oracle ePBCS highly preferred.Highly comfortable with Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel as well as Google Suite with emphasis on Sheets and SlidesExperience using AI tools for output improvement and efficienciescommunicate clearly and effectively with others at various levels of the company as well as externally when needed.Establish, cultivate, and maintain effective working relationships throughout the organizationMust be very reliable in meeting deadlines.Detail oriented with the ability to follow through and solve problems.Able to produce accurate results in a fast paced, high pressure environmentAbout Us.
