Medical Coder needed for a hybrid contract opportunity with Yoh's well established client located in Philadelphia, PA.
Hours : Monday-Friday 8-4 : 30
Schedule : Mon and Fri (remote), Tues, Wed, Thurs (on-site)
Duration : 3 months with possible extension
Pay : $25-35 / hr
What You'll Be Doing :
- Ensures accurate medical coding related to technology assessments, medical policies, claim payment policies and adhoc coding projects.
- Develops code lists for benefit application, mandate application, and group exception requests working closely with the various areas include Legal department, Sales and Marketing, Product Operations and other key area
- Reviews coding sources to recommend and develop comprehensive listings of appropriate codes in accordance with coding guidelines, national sources and established rules.
- Revises coding within policies in accordance with committee, management, medical director recommendations, or based on revision to policy.
- Serves as a resource to company associates regarding medical coding issues related to departmental documents, projects and inquiries.
