We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Commercial Lender with over 5 years of experience to join our client, a community bank with under $1 billion in assets. This role focuses on growing and managing a robust portfolio of commercial and ag credits, including participation loans. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in commercial lending, strong relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of the Cedar Valley business landscape. (Reference points, Waverly / Waterloo / Cedar Falls) The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in commercial lending, with a focus on portfolio management and loan participations along with demonstrated success in developing and growing a portfolio, and strong analytical and credit assessment skills.
