Street Supervisor

The City of Lansing is seeking a qualified and motivated Street Supervisor to join our Operations and Maintenance Division. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of experience in public works, specifically in the construction, maintenance, and repair of city streets. We are looking for an individual with strong communication skills and a solid understanding of the equipment, tools, materials, and techniques used in street maintenance operations. A well-rounded knowledge of related areassuch as grounds maintenance, winter operations, refuse collection, sewer systems, and urban forestry or horticultureis highly desirable. The successful candidate will also possess specialized experience in supervising and evaluating street maintenance work, as well as a thorough understanding of applicable laws, ordinances, safety practices, and regulations.
