Assistant Clinical Director (BCBA) – Richmond, VA

Full-Time | In-Clinic | $120,000–$140,000 per year (including performance incentives)

Autism Center of Excellence (AutismCOE) is seeking an experienced BCBA to step into the role of Assistant Clinical Director at our Richmond, VA clinic. This full-time, clinic-based leadership position is ideal for a seasoned clinician who values collaboration, clinical excellence, and guiding a high-performing team.

In this role, you’ll balance direct clinical care with mentorship and operational support, helping strengthen the overall quality of services provided to children and families.

What You’ll Do

• Provide clinical leadership and oversight to BCBAs, BCaBAs, and RBTs
• Conduct functional assessments and develop individualized ABA treatment plans
• Lead onboarding, coaching, and ongoing development for clinical team members
• Review treatment data to ensure progress, quality, and adherence to ABA best practices
• Monitor caseload distribution, productivity, and treatment integrity within the clinic
• Collaborate closely with operations to support efficient scheduling and workflow
• Partner with families through caregiver training and regular communication
• Contribute to clinic-wide initiatives, continuous improvement projects, and team culture

Requirements

Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification (required) Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field Eligible for or holding a Virginia Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) credential Experience working with children with autism in a clinical setting Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills Commitment to compassionate, high-quality, family-centered care
