Job Details

1. Overseeing all financial operations at the plant, including cost accounting, fixed asset accounting, and inventory management.

2. Developing and implementing effective cost reduction strategies to improve plant efficiency and profitability.

3. Preparing accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

4. Collaborating with plant management to develop budgets and financial forecasts, and ensuring that the plant operates within these budgets.

5. Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.

6. Working closely with the corporate finance team to align plant operations with overall company financial goals.

7. Identifying areas of financial risk and developing strategies to mitigate these risks.

8. Coordinating and overseeing annual audits.

Qualifications :

To be considered for the Permanent Plant Controller position, you must possess the following :

1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or CMA certification is highly desirable.

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the engineering or manufacturing industry.

3. Strong knowledge of cost accounting, fixed asset accounting, and cost reduction strategies.

4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial staff.

6. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

7. A keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.

8. The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

9. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
