About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Wound Care Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Minnesota. This opportunity starts as soon as credentialed, with a preferred start date of Nov 3, 2025, and features day shifts from 7 : 30am to 4pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. The assignment involves providing specialized wound care services, including performing sharp debridement, biopsies, biologic skin graft applications, and total contact casting. This is an excellent opportunity for a board-certified nurse practitioner with proven wound care expertise to contribute in a focused clinical setting, with the possibility for contract extension.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform sharp debridement of wounds
  • Conduct wound biopsies as indicated
  • Apply biologic skin grafts according to clinical protocols
  • Apply total contact casts for appropriate cases
  • Deliver comprehensive wound care management for assigned patients
