Neel-Schaffer is seeking responses from qualified applicants for the position of Project Manager Water / Wastewater to join our growing engineering firm. This position will be based in one of our four Jackson (MS) Metro Offices.

The successful candidate will have 8-plus years of experience in water / wastewater, municipal, or site civil projects. You will be a part of an Engineering Team and will assist other teams as project and client demands dictate. We need someone who enjoys interacting with public officials and truly making a difference in the communities in which we live and work.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Mississippi or the ability to obtain within 6 to 12 months, preferred.
• 8-plus years of experience with technical work and project management in the field of Water / Wastewater, Municipal or Site Civil.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to plan and conceptualize.
• The ability to produce technical reports and memorandums that are clear, concise, and accurate.
• The ability to communicate effectively during day-to-day interactions with teaming partners, colleagues, and clients.
• Experience with hydraulic computer models such as EPANET, Bentley WaterCAD or Autodesk InfoWater, preferred.
• Experience with hydraulic design and computer modeling software preferred.
• AutoCAD (and / or Civil 3D), and ArcGIS is advantageous.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
