We are currently seeking a Siemens MRI Technologist for the Minneapolis VA Hospital at One Veterans Drive Minneapolis, MN 55417.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS THAT APPLY TO ALL MRI TECHNOLOGISTS FOR ASSIGNMENT.
1. Comply with any applicable state regulations regarding their license, certification or registry. Provide current copy of State license if you have one.
2. Have current certification in American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS); American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Course; American Red Cross CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation); or equivalent. Provide copies of BLS and CPR.
3. Be a U.S. Citizen
4. Current certification as a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) technologist and as a diagnostic radiologic technologist as determined by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
5. Possess current certification in intravenous therapy, including injections.
6. A minimum of 3 years within the preceding 6 years of full-time experience as a diagnostic radiologic technologist performing MRI services.
