Job Summary and Qualifications
As an Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse, you will manage the admission, preoperative assessment, and preparation of patients on the day of their scheduled surgical procedures. Your responsibilities will include :
Job Requirements
Experience : A minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse in Surgical Services preferred; 1 year of acute care experience as a Registered Nurse is required.
Education : Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) is required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
Licenses and Certifications : Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License (Texas license must be obtained within 90 days of hire). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per St. David's Healthcare policy. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
