We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee second-shift warehouse and logistics operations at Dianne's Fine Desserts (a Dessert Holdings company) in Newburyport, MA .

  • Hours : 3 pm - 12 pm
  • Base : $70k-85K (+ bonus)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Interface daily with Procurement and Production to maintain production efficiencies, product availability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate LTL common carrier deliveries and investigate new methods of shipping our product.
  • Maintain integrity of temperature-sensitive raw materials and finished goods utilizing Company standards and ensuring accuracy in Microsoft D365 to ensure accurate financials.
  • Ensure inspection of all inbound and outbound trucks, using established shipping and receiving procedures, to ensure the highest quality products go to our customers.
  • Participate in the GFSI / FSSC22000 yearly audit and assist in the development of procedures and corrective actions as needed.
  • Support and execute Manufacturing Operating System initiatives and manager critical KPIs for the team.
  • Participate in meetings and safety initiatives as part of the facility management team.

    • QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS :

  • High school diploma required (a degree in a technical, engineering, or relevant field referred)
  • At least two years of supervisory experience, at least 5 years is preferred
  • APICS or other affiliation preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred
  • Prior experience in ERP systems and Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Good communication skills, hands-on attitude, analytical skills, takes initiative, solves problems

  • Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, crouch and climb steps.

  • Required to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Occasionally, something may weigh than 50 pounds and assistance must be utilized.
  • Possess good eye-hand coordination.
