CAPTRUST Internship / Co-Op Program

CAPTRUST is offering a paid internship / co-op program in our Boston, MA office that will provide exposure to the inner workings of a wealth management firm. This position will be trained in different aspects of financial planning and wealth management, accounting, trust and tax. Hands-on learning starts day one in this fast-paced environment. As an intern / co-op, you will serve in a support role to multiple client relationship managers who are responsible for maintaining and growing long-term client relationships. There are both full-time and part-time positions available and the program will run between January and May. Primary responsibilities may include the following, among others :

Supporting senior level advisors in all aspects of relationship management

Preparing trust, foundation, and individual income tax returns

Preparing and processing client cash activity and bills

Preparing client net worth and cash flow statements

Minimum Qualifications :

Actively pursuing four-year college degree in Accounting and / or Finance with one-previous co-op experience

Organizational Skills : Ability to prioritize tasks effectively; excellent attention to detail and follow-through.

Analytical & Problem-Solving : Strong analytical thinking with proven problem-solving capabilities.

Multitasking : Comfortable managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong listening abilities.

Technical Proficiency : Skilled in Microsoft Excel and other relevant tools.

Attitude & Growth : Positive, "can-do" mindset; eagerness to learn and take on increasing responsibilities.
