MQ Administrator

We are seeking an experienced IBM MQ Administrator to join the Government Security Services (GSS) team. GSS is a critical market infrastructure supporting settlement processes for government securities and collateral markets, handling trillions of dollars in transactions daily.

This role is hands-on, focused on production support of MQ environments. The ideal candidate will be skilled in MQ administration, confident in troubleshooting, and able to work independently in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, deploy, and upgrade IBM MQ environments.
• Manage MQ clustering, certificates, and security configurations.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Support change management, DR testing, and client recoveries.
• Participate in on-call rotation and occasional weekend support (with comp / overtime provided).
• Work closely with team members to ensure reliable, secure messaging services.
