Radiology Technologist Job Details
Location : Indianapolis, IN (8111 S Emerson Ave) & Carmel, IN
Employment Type : Travel Contract Radiology Technologist
Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 29 / 2025 – End : 3 / 30 / 2026)
Shifts : Indianapolis : Saturday & Sunday, 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 30 PM (12-hour days); Carmel : Float 2 weekday 8-hour shifts (days, based on surgery schedule)
Weekly Guaranteed Hours : 24
Weekend Hours : 24
Call Requirements : Some after-hours call at Carmel location during the week (very low call-in volume)
Float Requirements : Yes, between Indianapolis and Carmel healthcare facilities (not on the same day)
Equipment : Siemens, OEC, GE, Carestream, AIRO CT
EMR : EPIC
Dress Code : Grey scrubs
Estimated Weekly Salary : $1630 - $1750
Radiology Technologist Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech)
Valid BLS certification
ISDH License / Accreditation (Indiana State Department of Health)
ARRT Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
Experience in Surgery / OR, Diagnostic Imaging, and stationary fluoro procedures for arthrograms
Preferred : Previous hospital or healthcare facility experience
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a clinical team
Compassionate, professional demeanor with strong patient care skills
Radiology Technologist Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic imaging and surgery-related radiologic procedures in hospital and orthopedic settings
Operate advanced imaging equipment including Siemens, OEC, GE, Carestream, and AIRO CT
Float between Indianapolis and Carmel healthcare locations as scheduled
Support a diverse patient population in both inpatient and outpatient clinical environments
Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC EMR
Adhere to all healthcare safety and infection control protocols
Demonstrate professionalism in appearance and patient interactions (grey scrubs required)
