Travel Nurse Job Details Location : Tuscaloosa, AL 35401 (Alabama healthcare jobs) Unit : Heart Failure / Stroke Unit (42 beds) Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Shift : 12-hour nights (19 : 00-07 : 00), every other weekend, holidays as required Hours per Week : 36 (option for 48 hours per week) Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 8 / 2025 – End : 3 / 8 / 2026) Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week Estimated Weekly Pay : $1,720 - $1,840 per week Parking : Available Dress Code : Solid Navy Scrubs Registered Nurse Qualifications Associate's degree in Nursing (required) Active Registered Nurse license in Alabama or Compact RN license (No Temp Licenses accepted) AHA or Red Cross BLS certification (required) Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; candidates with at least 18 months of experience considered if 1 year is in Med / Surg Tele specialty Experience with Meditech EMR preferred Willingness to float to other units and hospitals as needed Med / Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with neurological and cardiac conditions, including congestive heart failure and acute stroke Collaborate with cardiologists, neurologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure best practice standards Manage a 1 : 6 nurse-to-patient ratio, providing compassionate and precise clinical support Float to other units and hospitals within the Alabama health system as required Accurately document patient care using Meditech EMR Work every other weekend and holidays as scheduled Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your travel nursing career in Tuscaloosa, Alabama!
