Registered Nurse Job Details Location : Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35401 Healthcare Setting : Cardiac Medical Unit (42 beds) Contract Length : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 8 / 2025 – End : 3 / 8 / 2026) Nursing Shift : 12-hour nights (19 : 00 – 07 : 00) Hours per Week : 36 (option for 48 hours per week) Guaranteed Hours : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1720-$1840 Dress Code : Solid Navy Scrubs Parking : On-site available Registered Nurse Qualifications Associate degree in Nursing required Active Alabama Registered Nurse license or compact state RN license (no temporary licenses) American Heart Association (AHA) BLS or Red Cross BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of RN experience preferred; candidates with at least 18 months of experience, including 1 year in Med / Surg Telemetry, will be considered Experience with Meditech EMR preferred Willingness to float to other units and hospitals as needed Med / Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to cardiac and medical patients, including those with chest pain, arrhythmias, pneumonia, GI issues, COPD, diabetes, stroke, and post-surgical needs Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry for assigned patients (1 : 6 nurse-to-patient ratio) Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes Accurately document care and interventions in Meditech EMR Float to other hospital units as required Work every other weekend and holidays as needed Apply now to join our healthcare team in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and take the next step in your nursing career!
