As a Psychiatry Account Manager, you will spearhead efforts to drive sales performance, leveraging comprehensive clinical knowledge and strong sales tactics to navigate today’s complex healthcare landscape.
Essential Functions :
- Business Planning & Account Leadership : Utilize digital tools and data insights to create opportunities, strategize, allocate resources, and adapt to maximize sales performance.
- Selling : Clearly deliver compelling messages to customers, address their needs, overcome objections, and secure commitments to drive change.
- Customer Development : Build and maintain productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to enhance overall account management.
- Local Market & Therapeutic Area Expertise : Analyze market trends and apply your therapeutic knowledge to identify and prioritize unique opportunities.
- Reimbursement : Stay informed about reimbursement dynamics and proactively address access issues using Lundbeck resources.
- Pharmaceutical Environment / Compliance : Maintain knowledge of the pharmaceutical regulatory landscape and adhere to Lundbeck policies and FDA regulations.
Required Education, Experience, and Skills :
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales or related healthcare sales.Intellectual capacity to excel in product training and certification.Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer literacy.Must reside within 40 miles of the territory boundaries.A valid driver's license with a safe driving record is required.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience in specialty product sales.Background in CNS / neuroscience with experience in depression, schizophrenia, or bipolar disorder.Proven successful sales performance with a strong analytical background.Experience in product launches and developing integrated account plans.Prior collaboration with alliance partners.Leadership experience through participation in committees and related activities.Travel Requirements :
Willingness to travel up to 30%-40% to engage with customers and attend conferences within the United States.The salary range for this role is $117,000 - $137,000, with a sales incentive target of $39,000.
