Job Summary :

As a Mover at 2 Brothers Moving, you will be an essential part of our dynamic team, responsible for efficiently and safely transporting our customers' belongings.

This physically demanding role requires individuals who can handle heavy lifting, drive moving trucks, and provide exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate is flexible, reliable, and willing to work evenings and weekends as needed.

The Mover position involves physical labor, including heavy lifting, bending, and kneeling.

The role may require working evenings and weekends based on the demands of the job schedule.

Adherence to safety guidelines and proper lifting techniques is crucial to ensure a safe working environment.

Responsibilities :

1.

Loading and Unloading :

Safely load and unload furniture, boxes, and other items from trucks.    - Ensure items are properly secured and protected during transit.    - Utilize proper lifting techniques to handle items weighing up to 75 lbs. 2.

Driving :

Operate moving trucks in a safe and efficient manner.    - Adhere to traffic and safety regulations during transportation.    - Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle. 3.

Customer Service :

Interact professionally with customers and address any concerns or questions.    - Handle belongings with care and ensure customer satisfaction.    - Provide a positive and friendly experience throughout the moving process. 4.

Team Collaboration :

Work collaboratively with other team members to complete moving assignments.    - Communicate effectively with the Crew Manager and other staff to ensure smooth operations. 5.

Flexibility :

Be available to work evenings and weekends as required by the moving schedule.    - Adapt to varying job requirements and schedules.

Qualifications :

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. - Ability to lift and carry heavy items, up to 75 lbs, using proper techniques. - Experience in moving or a physically demanding role is a plus. - Strong work ethic and reliability. - Excellent customer service and communication skills. - Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Compensation :

Competitive starting pay of $19.50 / hr with annual increases and opportunities for advancement.

Additional $4 / hr in cash tips (average) based on performance.
