Job Details

  • Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to Emergency Room patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures.
  • Demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgement and leadership in anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care in the Emergency Department.
  • Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education.
  • Delegates patient care priorities commensurate with education and experience of staff available.
  • Provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.

    • Job Requirements

  • BLS certification required.
  • ACLS certification required.
  • PALS (ARC / AHA ONLY) certification required.
  • Prefer 2 years of experience.
  • Tennessee or Multistate nursing license required.

    • Schedule Information

  • Shift : MIDS - 1 PM to 1 AM.
  • Must be able to work every other weekend and every other holiday as needed.

  • Emergency Department unit.
