Posting Details (Default Section) Posting Number: 20251269F Position Title: Adjunct Faculty - French and Francophone Studies Position Type: Faculty Recruitment Type: Work Schedule: part-time/9-months Department: 985-French and Francophone studies Position Summary: Villanova University invites applications for adjunct teaching positions in French for undergraduate courses only. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester. The applicant must have an M.A. and be committed to excellence in the teaching of French at all levels.

Villanova is a Catholic university sponsored by the Augustinian Order. Duties and Responsibilities: Teaching and related duties will vary with the specific course(s) being taught. Minimum Qualifications: A master’s degree in French, native or near native knowledge of French and English required. Preferred Qualifications: Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours: Special Message to Applicants: The French and Francophone Studies Program will accept applications throughout the year. When a teaching vacancy arises, we will consider the submitted applications in an effort to staff the course.

Posting Date: 08/25/2025 Salary Posting Information: This adjunct position falls within the salary range of $1,160.00 – $2,230.00 per credit/contact hour. The final compensation will be determined with consideration of several factors including the selected candidate’s educational qualifications, course type (drill, lab, lecture), course level (undergraduate or graduate), and market benchmarks.
