Job Description :

As a Staff Accountant at our client you will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Reporting to the Senior Accountant, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to :

Recording day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

Reconciling bank statements and maintaining accurate records of cash receipts and disbursements.

Assisting with the preparation of monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Conducting monthly variance analysis and providing explanations for any discrepancies.

Assisting with the annual budgeting process and monitoring budget performance throughout the year.

Supporting the annual audit process by providing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.

Collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to internal controls.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

1-2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the property management or real estate industry.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Yardi).

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and relevant accounting regulations.
