About Lyrik’s Institution
Lyrik’s Institution is a transformative community-based organization dedicated to supporting youth ages 13–25 who have been impacted by violence, trauma, and systemic inequities. Through culturally relevant, trauma-informed programming — including the IBUILD initiative and School-Wide Intervention partnerships — we work to disrupt cycles of harm and create meaningful opportunities for healing, learning, and growth.
Position Summary
The Culture Coach serves as a Behavior Interventionist embedded in Lyrik’s Institution’s School-Wide Intervention model, designed to support schools in addressing behavior challenges, enhancing student engagement, and building a positive school climate. This position focuses primarily on in-school youth, with a secondary role supporting out-of-school youth connected to our broader intervention efforts.
Culture Coaches are deployed to one or more school sites (based on district contracts) and serve as a bridge between students, school staff, administrators, and families — delivering restorative interventions, behavioral coaching, and crisis support.
