Contract Manager
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Contract Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to manage all contract activity for a directorate and major market segment, playing a key role in managing complex contractual relationships and driving successful outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing :
- Cradle-to-grave contract administration with various Government agencies including DoD, Dept. of Energy, US Army Corps of Engineers.
- Supports professional services, and engineering services with minor construction programs
- Negotiate difficult, complex, or sensitive issues with clients.
- Analyze and advise program and contract leadership on contractual issues and risks.
- Implement solutions to resolve contract challenges.
- Collaborate with directorate and project management to ensure proper support in proposal preparation, as well as contract negotiations and administration.
- Review requests for proposals to identify risks and contractual terms not conforming to company policy.
- Participate in directorate and market segment strategic planning activities for specific projects (e.g., risk assessment, bid / no bid analysis, participation in business plan development, etc.).
- Manages 5-member Contracts team.
- Provide technical guidance to assigned personnel ensuring proficiency and timeliness of contract administration.
- Make staffing assignments and reassignments as company and project needs arise.
- Offers personnel development, conducts performance evaluations, counsels, and takes corrective action as required.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
- 10% travel anticipated.
What Required Skills You'll Bring :
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.12+ years of prime contract administration experience is requiredRequires a comprehensive knowledge of industry business practices and prime contract negotiations.In depth knowledge of FARs and DFARs.Thorough understanding of CPFF, FFP, and T&M contract structures.Possess strong written / oral communication and interpersonal skills.Experience with international projects.Working knowledge of PC software packages typically associated with contract administration. Ability to perform in a management capacity is also required.What Desired Skills You'll Bring :

Salary Range : $120,800.00 - $217,400.00
