Director - Global Field Transformation

Excellent opportunity for highly motivated individual to assume the Director - Global Field Transformation role within the Global Digital Field Accelerator organization. The organization offers opportunities for a motivated individual to be a part of an essential initiative to digitalize our global field workforce.

Otis is digitalizing our tools and field processes and is hiring for Director - Global Field Transformation to continue to shape the future of Otis field transformation. The Director - Global Field Transformation role will be responsible for maintaining strategic cross-functional partnerships, setting strategic priorities for development, documenting best practices and standard work, and leading global field transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have elevator industry experience, familiarity with Otis field processes, a willingness to learn product management, development lifecycle management, is excited and passionate to advance digitalization within Otis and to build strong partnerships with countries and cross-functional teams.

Major tasks and responsibilities include :

  • Build and maintain strong cross functional partnerships.
  • Set strategic priorities for development.
  • Track and communicate with Field leaders on program updates.
  • Partner with product teams to review backlogs and prioritize enhancements.
  • Partner with the COE processes, tools, and enablement to support best practices and standard work.
  • Lead and support global field transformation initiatives.
  • Support countries through the phases of user acceptance testing, pilot, deployment, and adoption.
  • Act as the primary product contact across development and operational teams.
  • Build consensus and alignment through cross-functional team meetings.
  • Develop a customer focused product roadmap for new enhancements.
  • Serve as a consultant for our countries by providing introductions, training and general support.
  • Communicate with project leads, leadership, and field users on field enhancements.
  • Maintain country support resources, including training materials.
  • Support the global champions network meeting on enhancements, best practices, and updates.
  • Lead calls with countries on processes, deployment status and support needs.
  • Supporting Salesforce Field Service
  • Leading Scheduling improvements
  • Leading KPI reporting
  • Supporting US & Canada deployment planning / coordination
  • Supporting development backlog grooming / prioritization
  • Supporting bug fix and enhancement validation
  • Supporting change management & training

Education & experience :

  • Four-year degree
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in the elevator industry
  • Preferred qualifications :

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to generate complex monthly reports from multiple data sources.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment with limited guidance.
  • Dedicated involvement towards continuous improvement.
  • A demonstrated ability to lead projects and obtain desired results through others.
  • The ability to organize and manage multiple priorities, projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals in a diverse environment.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships and work with colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third parties.
  • Be a self-starter, a highly motivated person able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of agile development, DevOps, PowerBI, DataPoint, and related concepts.
  • Deep understanding of product development lifecycle.
  • Agile experience is a plus.
