Job description

HVAC Project Manager Residential & Commercial Installations

We're seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to lead high-impact residential and commercial installation projects from start to finish. This is a dynamic, hands-on leadership role where you'll drive project success, foster strong client relationships, and ensure every job is delivered with precision, quality, and efficiency.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Oversee all phases of HVAC installations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
  • Lead and motivate teams of technicians and subcontractors, providing clear direction and support
  • Act as the primary liaison for clients, ensuring satisfaction and resolving issues proactively
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, compliance, and workmanship
  • Manage budgets and control costs while identifying opportunities for value engineering
  • Provide regular financial and operational updates to company leadership
  • Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal regulations

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of HVAC project management experience
  • Deep understanding of HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ductwork
  • Proven track record in both residential and commercial environments
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with project management tools and software
  • Valid HVAC certification and applicable licenses

    • Preferred Skills

  • Experience with budgeting, scheduling, RFIs, submittals, take-offs, and buyouts
  • Familiarity with electrical systems and retrofit or ground-up construction projects
  • Skilled in Excel, Word, Bluebeam, Procore, Timberline, and CAD
  • PMP certification and / or OSHA 30 (support available if not yet obtained)

    The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $150000.00 / yr.
