Senior Product Manager, Enterprise

It's a new day with a new opportunity at 8am!

About the role :

As the Senior Product Manager, Enterprise at 8am, you'll lead the strategy, definition, and execution of our Enterprise payments roadmap, shaping how the largest law and accounting firms in the U.S. manage their financial workflows with 8am.

You will deeply understand the needs of large, complex firms and define how 8am evolves to protect and scale its Enterprise base. Your work will directly address core business priorities identified in our Enterprise Go-Forward Strategy, including closing product gaps, deepening integrations with leading AR and practice management platforms, and exploring new monetizable Enterprise payment solutions.

You'll partner closely with engineering, design, finance, and go-to-market teams to build a strategy that strengthens 8am's role as the payments leader for professional services firms, while balancing scalability, security, and profitability.

This is a high-impact, highly visible role that will influence both short-term product execution and long-term company strategy at 8am.

What you'll do :

  • Define and execute the Enterprise product strategy across our payments products, aligning it with 8am's broader company objectives and financial goals.
  • Conduct market, customer, and partner research to understand Enterprise pain points and emerging trends in AR automation, billing, and payments.
  • Evaluate and close key product gaps that drive enterprise disqualification, including surcharging, transaction limits, reporting, and reconciliation workflows.
  • Build and strengthen integrations with leading practice management and AR automation platforms, ensuring 8am remains a trusted embedded payments partner.
  • Collaborate with engineering to design scalable, compliant, and performant solutions for high-volume Enterprise clients, balancing flexibility with product consistency.
  • Analyze Enterprise merchant performance through data and customer insights to identify opportunities for revenue expansion, retention, and margin improvement.
  • Partner with Product Marketing, Sales, and Finance to develop go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and packaging for Enterprise capabilities and partnerships.
  • Monitor competitive dynamics (e.g., embedded payments, AR automation trends, global expansion) to identify risks and position 8am as a differentiated Enterprise payments provider.

About you :

  • Enterprise Payments Expertise : You bring deep product experience in B2B payments, AR automation, or financial operations for large organizations.
  • Customer Empathy : You think like your customers- large, multi-department firms with complex billing needs- and translate their challenges into elegant, scalable product solutions.
  • Technical Acumen : You can work closely with engineering to design solutions that meet Enterprise-level performance, compliance, and integration requirements.
  • Collaborative Leadership : You excel at working cross-functionally across product, engineering, business development, and GTM teams to execute a unified Enterprise vision.
  • Analytical Mindset : You make decisions based on data and can quantify the impact of roadmap decisions on retention, volume, and profitability.
  • Market Awareness : You stay ahead of trends in legal and accounting technology, AR automation, and embedded payments.
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools and technologies to improve workflows, enhance decision-making, or drive innovation.
  • This position is preferably based in Austin, Texas.
  • Requirements :

  • 710 years of product management experience, including building or scaling Enterprise B2B or payments solutions.
  • Proven experience working with integrations in legal, accounting, or fintech ecosystems.
  • Strong technical fluency and ability to engage with engineering on architecture, scalability, and integration tradeoffs.
  • Demonstrated success in defining strategy and delivering measurable business results in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
