ER RN Job Details – Springfield, IL

Location : Springfield, IL 62769 (Illinois healthcare jobs)

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (90 days)

Start Date : December 15, 2025

End Date : March 15, 2026

Shift : 12-hour evening shifts (11am – 11pm); every other weekend and call required

Hours per Week : 36

Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1950 - $2090

Emergency Room RN Qualifications

Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license (required at submission)

At least 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience

Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications

Experience with EPIC EMR preferred

Skilled in caring for patients across all ages, from NICU to Geriatric

ER Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting

Respond to trauma and pediatric emergencies as part of a Level 1 Trauma and Pediatric Level II team

Conduct patient assessments, administer medications, and implement individualized care plans

Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Accurately document patient care using EPIC EMR (preferred)

Participate in call rotation and work every other weekend as scheduled
