About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic Senior Financial Executive to lead our financial management and strategic planning efforts. This integral position involves collaborating with senior and regional leadership teams to develop and present an annual budget, while also ensuring its accuracy and alignment with the organization's performance through diligent monitoring and reconciliation.
The Senior Financial Executive will oversee cash flow management, lead financial review meetings, and offer strategic financial insights to aid in the company’s growth and decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in managing complex budgets, audits, and comprehensive financial reporting for large-scale operations.
Essential qualifications include a solid understanding of nonprofit accounting standards and compliance requirements, along with experience in providing detailed financial reports and presenting valuable insights to boards and committees. Previous experience in overseeing capital projects and managing both restricted and unrestricted funds is crucial, as well as proficiency in contract administration and coordination of insurance and facility operations.
Applicants should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in senior financial leadership roles focused on the nonprofit sector, a proven track record in managing multi-million-dollar budgets and audits, and a deep understanding of GAAP principles, grant management, and capital financing. Outstanding communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential, and familiarity with financial systems such as QuickBooks Online and Salesforce is highly desirable.
