Travel Emergency Room RN (Adult & Pediatric) - $2,891 per week

• Work 12.5-hour mid shifts from 11 : 00 AM to 11 : 30 PM
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Work 2 out of every 3 holidays
• Must have 3 years of nursing experience - no first time travelers accepted
• Required to float to Pediatrics ER as needed
• Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
• For Pediatrics ER : ENPC or CPEN preferred
• Must have significant experience with both pediatric and adult patients (50% of patient population is pediatric)
• Patient ratios : ICU 1 : 2, Pediatrics 1 : 4, Adults 1 : 4, Procedural sedation 1 : 1
• Complete basic EKG interpretation test during orientation with additional testing for critical care nurses
• Handle all diagnoses from minor walk-ins to critically ill patients including respiratory failure, asthma, abdominal pain, fractures, substance abuse
• Work in stroke alert facility and STEMI receiving center
• Navy blue scrubs required for RNs
• Use Cerner charting system
• No block scheduling - must be flexible with scheduling
• Complete 3 shifts on unit plus meet with ER educator during orientation
• First to float as mid-shift nurse Facility : This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive emergency department with separate adult and pediatric emergency services. The adult ER features 28 stations (18 beds and 10 reclining chairs), while the pediatric ER has 5 beds and 5 reclining chairs. The facility serves as a receiving center for pediatrics, STEMI, stroke, and burn patients, seeing approximately 325 visits per day between both emergency departments and treating around 30,000 pediatric patients annually.
