This position is responsible for supporting the engineering, implementation, tuning, maintenance, and allocation management of enterprise storage infrastructure for all of our clients operating system platforms. They will do NAS, Tier 1, Tier 2 support and recovery structure. One will focus more on backup / cyber where they will be utilizing AI in some cyber implementation, scripting is as needed. and the other will be more focused on Tier 1 storage / NAS. Need experience with Dell hardware and net backup.
They use Remedy for their problem / change management tool. Within the group they use Dell products. PowerMax, net backup, for NAS they're using power scale, use brocade for SAN switches, using PPDM which is another background tool, use data mains. Cyber recovery vault which is from Dell. Cyber is very important, continuing to build that out and test. Needs experience with Cyber recovery.

BS / BA in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent work experience is desired.
Administration of Storage Area Network (SAN) environments.
Administration of Network Attached Storage (NAS) environments.
Capacity planning for storage and backup.
Reporting of Storage performance, availability, and integrity.
Ensuring that storage requests are completed in a timely manner.
Analyzing performance of storage infrastructure; ensuring storage systems availability and data integrity.
Familiar the administration of :
Brocade Storage Area Network Switch equipment
SAN Monitoring tools including SANNAV and APTARE
EMC VMAX / PowerMax storage subsystems for Open Systems
EMC PowerStore storage subsystems for Open Systems
EMC PowerScale (Isilon) NAS storage subsystems
EMC PowerProtect Data Manager
EMC Data Domain de-dupe appliances
VERITAS Netbackup and Netbackup appliances
General knowledge of Linux and Windows platforms, and network components (operating systems, clusters, containers, and networks)
Basic knowledge of scripting
Basic knowledge of security policies
Basic knowledge of data replication technologies
General knowledge of Southern Company's core business
General knowledge of Technology infrastructure components
Ability to quickly learn new storage technology concepts and transition knowledge & skillsets to new situations.
Ability to effectively organize tasks, manage multiple priorities / details, meet schedules, and deliver on customer commitments.

The pay range for this position is $56.00 - $57.00 / hr.
