Job Title : Group Sales Coordinator

Location : Hilton Capitol Hill

Department : Sales & Marketing

FLSA Status : Non-Exempt

Reports To : Director of Sales & Marketing

Job Summary : As Groups Sales Coordinator, you will perform routine procedures in order to maximize revenue and Guest satisfaction and will work to develop future and repeat business opportunities in groups.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Receives and enters in all contracts in the system.
  • Receives and enters in all rooming lists.
  • Focuses on Rooming list and cut-off dates.
  • Liaison with sales and group events Managers.
  • Attends group pick up meetings and BEO meetings
  • Ensures payments are entered
  • Works with Marketing Analyst to ensure blocks in R&I are balanced with Delphi.
  • Oversees addendum to contracts.
  • Works with group clients to ensure they receive pick-up reports, rooming list, etc.
  • Manage telephone and email enquiries in a prompt and professional manner and in accordance with company standards ensuring accuracy and attention to detail at all times.
  • Understand seasonal and historical trends and work within them to ensure maximum occupancy and average room rates.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction regularly and resolve any outstanding issues to ensure future business.
  • Manage administrative requests as directed by the Management Team.
  • Manage an events schedule to maximize yield.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, Guests and Team Members in order to gain full understanding of their needs and work to serve them effectively.
  • Reservations policies and procedures are followed to ensure Guest satisfaction.

Required Skills, Experience and Knowledge :

Experience : Minimum of 1 year of hotel industry experience is required.

Language Skills : Must be bilingual, with the ability to communicate effectively in both English and a second language.

Background : Candidates should have prior experience working specifically in hotel environments, including familiarity with guest services, front desk operations, or hospitality management.

    Shift Pattern : Monday-Friday, some weekends may be needed

    Salary : $64,350 - $70,000 annually

    Ideal candidates have a minimum of 1 year in customer service, are bilingual, and have previous experience working in hotels.
