Corporate Accounting Manager

Corporate Accounting Manager We are seeking a contractor in the Corporate Accounting Team while our Senior Accounting Manager is out on maternity leave. This position will report to the Accounting Director for the anticipated period of April to September. The right candidate for this role will have strong general accounting knowledge, with experience in monthly close & quarterly reporting requirements of a multinational public company. This individual must have an exceptional eye for detail, be an effective multi-tasker, and be a true team player. In addition to monthly close responsibilities, this position will primarily support the M&A integration activities related to Juniper's impending acquisition by Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) along with supporting other cross-functional system implementations and finance projects. Will consider remote workers in the Pacific Time Zone. Responsibilities : Complete month-end / quarter-end close & reporting deliverables as assigned. This may include foreign currency hedge accounting, ESPP accounting, trial balance upload and others. Provide ad hoc financial information requests for the deal close of HPE's acquisition of Juniper (estimated close in either late FY'24 or early FY'25). Coordinate and compile quarterly enterprise project updates to Corporate Controllership team. ssist with system enhancements to Juniper's new reporting tool, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) (which went live in Q3'23) Participate in enterprise projects and process improvements identified in the Record to Report (RTR) track. Effectively manage personal deliverables against project milestones, provide regular updates, and proactive communication to avoid surprises. Work with cross-functional teams including Treasury, Finance, Technical Accounting, Intercompany, Tax, Juniper shared service center in India, etc. Qualifications : 8+ years of operational and general ledger accounting and reporting experience in multinational public company. Bachelor degree in accounting. SAP general ledger hands-on experience required. Proficient Excel skills required. Proficient PowerPoint skills required. Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) reporting highly desirable. CPA preferred. Flexible and able to work with teams in different time zones. Ability to manage ambiguity, risk, and changing direction of projects and priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
