Civil Engineer

Insight Global is looking for a Civil Engineer to join a dynamic team, where you'll have the opportunity to work on significant landfill projects with major international manufacturers. Your role will involve crafting new grading plans and ensuring financial assurance, with about 20-30% of your time spent in the field, and more office time as you advance. You'll support a variety of projects focusing on landfills, solid waste management, and environmental solutions, requiring strong AutoCAD, design, and engineering skills. Your day-to-day will be diverse, from applying your knowledge in engineering and scientific principles to preparing detailed calculations, drawings, and permit applications. You'll also engage in business development, client meetings, and industry events, while providing mentorship to junior staff. This role is perfect for those who are ready to take on complex challenges and make a tangible impact in the field of civil and environmental engineering.

Manufacturing experience with permitting & compliance (#1 plus)

Solid waste, industrial / manufacturing, environmental regulations, and assessment / remediation experience

Experience with someone or all of the following :

Landfill engineering

Wastewater engineering

Due diligence with Phase I / II ESAs

Assessment & Remediation

Project management experience

Bachelors degree in Civil, Construction, Geotechnical, Environmental or related Engineering field required

5-10+ years of experience within Civil Engineering and / or solid waste

Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D design software

Professional Engineer (PE) license
