Overview

Software and System design, development, performance & power optimization of XR products built using Qualcomm’s industry-leading SoC running Android and Linux platforms. Analyze and decompose complex software systems and collaborate with and influence others to improve the overall design. The candidate will be required to be hands-on as well as provide technical leadership to a team of engineers.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of academic or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
• 3 - 8 years of hands-on experience in design and development of multimedia software (at drivers, middleware, frameworks level) in one or more of these domains : Virtual / Augmented Reality, Camera, Graphics, Video, Display, Computer Vision.
• Expert in C / C++ programming.
• Embedded multimedia product development experience in Android smartphones, network-based video or camera products.
• Hands-on experience with the internals of Linux, Android is required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical & Computer Engineering or related discipline from recognized institutions.
