Job description

Role - AI Portfolio Manager

Location Houston TX (No relocation). Only local

Portfolio Management

Lead the planning prioritization and execution of multiple AI and digital assistant projects across the subsurface and wells domain.

Oversee budgets timelines and resource allocation for AI initiatives.

Define KPIs and success metrics for AI adoption and performance.

Strategic Alignment

Work closely with subsurface wells and production teams to identify pain points and opportunities for AI integration.

Align AI projects with business goals technology strategy and data governance frameworks.

Technical Leadership

Collaborate with data scientists ML engineers and software developers to design train and deploy AI agents tailored to geoscience reservoir and well engineering use cases.

Translate complex domain requirements into actionable AI project charters and specifications.

Ensure solutions are explainable robust and compliant with internal and regulatory standards.

Stakeholder Engagement

Act as a bridge between technical AI teams and domain experts (geoscientists drilling engineers reservoir engineers etc.).

Communicate progress insights and outcomes to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
