Role - AI Portfolio Manager

Location Houston TX (No relocation). Only local

JD

  • Portfolio Management

Lead the planning prioritization and execution of multiple AI and digital assistant projects across the subsurface and wells domain.

  • Oversee budgets timelines and resource allocation for AI initiatives.
  • Define KPIs and success metrics for AI adoption and performance.
  • Strategic Alignment

    • Work closely with subsurface wells and production teams to identify pain points and opportunities for AI integration.

  • Align AI projects with business goals technology strategy and data governance frameworks.
  • Technical Leadership

    • Collaborate with data scientists ML engineers and software developers to design train and deploy AI agents tailored to geoscience reservoir and well engineering use cases.

  • Translate complex domain requirements into actionable AI project charters and specifications.
  • Ensure solutions are explainable robust and compliant with internal and regulatory standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement

    • Act as a bridge between technical AI teams and domain experts (geoscientists drilling engineers reservoir engineers etc.).

  • Communicate progress insights and outcomes to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
