Schedule : Day Shift Sunday - Thursday noon start times

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate driver activities and shuttle assignments to resolve service issues and minimize overtime, downtime, and hours of service violations.
• Complete attendance trackers and verify that drivers are using Omnitracs properly.
• Ensure that customer's needs are being met in a prompt and professional manner and escalate issues (late dispatch, breakdown, other service failures) to managers and sales force.
• Reassign routes as needed to solve service issues, and ensure that drivers are logging in and utilizing Proof of Delivery scanner.
• Coordinate trailer, tractor, and backhaul assignments to support efficient logistics operations.
• Visually inspect each driver's appearance to verify that drivers are in proper uniform and have required PPE.
• Notify the manager / supervisor in charge and the safety specialist in the event of a vehicle accident or driver injury.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Work Environment

The work will take place both at a desk in an office environment and in normal warehouse environments including cooler and freezer areas where temperatures may be as low as -5 degrees.
