Salary : $22-$25 hourly

Knightscope designs and operates Autonomous Security Robots (ASRs) that safeguard people and property around the clock. Our fleet of ASRs combines robotics, edge AI, and cloud services to deliver actionable, realtime intelligence to clients nationwide.

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented shipping & receiving specialist to support operations.

This position is located in Downey, CA and will require you to be full-time on-site.

Responsibilities

Teammate

Ensure all raw materials, products, and consumables are documented, handled, and managed with extreme accuracy and care.
Collaborate across-departments with engineering, quality assurance, service, facilities, finance, and accounting to streamline efforts and foster growth.

Processes

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing lists and purchase orders.

Accurately log and track inventory using Netsuite ERP

Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments in compliance with company standards and carrier requirements.

Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to resolve shipping or receiving discrepancies.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, following all OSHA and company safety policies.

Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely (training provided if needed).

Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in cycle counting.

Support logistics, supply chain, and production teams as required

Qualifications

Current Forklift Certification

2+ years experience in shipping & receiving

2+ years in manufacturing environment

Familiarity with shipping carriers (FedEx, UPS, freight) and related documentation

Experience with an ERP, WMS, or similar enterprise systems.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand / walk for extended periods

Proven track record of positively contributing and cross-functional collaboration.

Experience with a complex set of objectives and a fast-paced environment.

Strong written & verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational skills, determination, and high attention to details.

Experience in a startup environment.

Ability to lead rapid change direction based on business demands.

Analytical mindset with strong Excel / data skills
