Job descriptionOperate machinery used in the production process or assist machine operators Perform tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures and manufacturing guidelines Lift, bend, and stand for extended periods during production Use tape measures or rulers for accurate measuring Apply materials using hand / eye coordination with neatness and consistency Examine products to ensure they meet quality standards Package and prepare finished products for shipment Rotate through various tasks in the liner production process Review work orders and follow written / verbal instructions Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Communicate production issues to supervisors Complete assigned tasks to meet production schedules and volume Perform other duties as assigned Skilled in using hand tools and accurately reading measurements Strong attention to detail and quality standards Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision Capable of prioritizing and multitasking in a fast-paced environment Physically capable of lifting materials and standing throughout the shift Willingness to learn and contribute positively to the team Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Life Insurance Referral Bonuses Weekly Pay

Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a reputable manufacturing company in Ottawa, IL , and we are actively seeking a Skilled Laborer for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, experience using hand tools, and the ability to follow instructions with precision.
Position : Skilled Laborer - Manufacturing
Location : Ottawa, IL
Pay : $16.50 / hour
Schedule :
- Monday through Thursday, 6 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM
- Overtime on Fridays, 6 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM (unless otherwise directed)
