We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Controller to join our Accounting and Finance team. This role is an incredible opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about contributing to a company's financial health. As our Assistant Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing our financial reporting, general ledger (GL) management, journal entries, and involved in the NetSuite implementation. This role is integral to our team and requires a candidate with a strong background in accounting, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities :

1. Oversee and manage the general ledger (GL) and ensure accuracy, timeliness, and conformity with professional accounting standards and best practices.

2. Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports, ensuring they comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.

3. Maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.

4. Coordinate the preparation of annual audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements.

5. Manage and prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and assist with the monthly close process.

6. Oversee the company's use of NetSuite, ensuring optimal functionality and accurate financial data.

7. Collaborate with team members to support overall department goals and objectives.

8. Provide training to new and existing staff as needed.

9. Work closely with the Controller to ensure financial security by establishing internal controls.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. A Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.

2. A minimum of 8 years of experience split between public accounting and private industry

3. Proficient in financial reporting, maintaining GL, managing journal entries, and utilizing NetSuite.
