Job description

Position Summary

Federal Data Systems, LLC (FEDDATA) is looking for a Sales Executive with experience using and selling open-source intelligence (OSINT) capabilities and data collections to various local and federal agencies. This individual will be responsible for generating new leads, providing potential clients with software demonstrations, writing proposals, relaying feedback and improvement suggestions to the product team, and managing customer relationships throughout the sales process.

The Sales Executive will serve as a representative for FEDDATA’s proprietary OSINT analytics platform, Revelare. Accordingly, this individual will use their knowledge of customer spaces and technology to determine the best solution for any given challenge, whether that be an existing FEDDATA capability or an alternative solution.

Essential Job Functions

  • Be a subject matter expert in the field of commercial OSINT solutions and maintain current knowledge of the current requirements of the USG with respect to OSINT, and the capabilities that exist today / and are emerging from industry.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities where FEDDATA creates value and / or reduces costs for customers with technical solutions.
  • Provide feedback to various teams for process or product improvements identified through sales process as required.
  • Field inbound sales inquiries related to product information, pricing, and technical requirements and provide potential clients with software demonstrations.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key technical, operational, acquisition and business executives and decision makers.
  • Create and deliver face-to-face sales presentations that demonstrate knowledge of the OSINT discipline and the Revelare platform

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Due to the nature of this position and the information that employees will be required to access; U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field.
  • Required Security Clearance : None
  • 2+ years of Open-Source (data, intelligence, research) PaaS / SaaS sales experience.
  • 10+ years of experience as a HUMINT, CI / CT, or OSINT analyst.
  • Experience performing software / solution demonstrations in front of both technical and business focused prospects.
  • Experience with, and deep understanding of open-source data analysis, data collection, statistical analysis, and technical systems.
  • Experience with / Understanding of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
  • Experience providing clear and accurate responses for RFPs and bids, sales quotes, and / or contribute technical solutions directly to proposals, presentations, etc.
  • Desired / Preferred Skills :

  • TS / SCI Clearance is highly desired.
  • Experience / Relationships with USG customers, such as DOJ, DOE, and CBP along with various entities (UARCs, AFRL, JAIC, etc) that support USG operations.
  • Working Conditions :

    Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are normally set from Monday through Friday 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. Additional details on the precise hours will be informed to the candidate from the Program Manager / Hiring Manager.

    Physical Requirements :

    May be required to lift and carry items weighting up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.

    Background Screening / Check / Investigation :

    Successful Completion of a Background Screening / Check / Investigation will be required as a condition of hire.
