About the Team :

Decagons Finance team partners with leadership across the company to drive strategic clarity, operational discipline, and long-term growth. We translate financial insight into action, guiding key decisions around investment, efficiency and scale as Decagon continues to expand globally.

As a senior member of this team, youll help elevate Decagons financial strategy and planning capabilities ensuring that our resources, systems, and priorities are aligned to support sustainable, data-driven growth. Youll work closely with our executive team to bring financial rigor and strategic foresight to the companys most important initiatives.

About the Role :

Were looking for a leader to establish our Strategic Finance function here at Decagon. You will work closely with our Founders and Executive Team to drive strategic business outcomes - helping us make the right trade-offs at the right time in order to maximize growth and efficiency. This role will be a great fit if you thrive in fast-paced environments, love blending financial analysis with open-ended problem solving, and are excited to scale a world-class AI company.

In This Role You'll :

Own our quarterly and annual planning cycle, guiding overall company strategy, resource allocation, and decision making

Partner cross-functionally with Execs across the org, including Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Ops to ideate, support, and drive strategic initiatives

Drive accountability in the business through defining financial and operational metrics, identifying key business trends via reporting and dashboarding, and pulling the right levers in order to drive growth and efficiency

Support our founders with investor relations, including quarterly Board meetings and future fundraising efforts

Develop and build a scalable finance function to support Decagons hyper-growth

Who You Are :

7+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, strategic finance, or similar roles

Experience running financial planning and creating ROI and financial analysis decision-making frameworks

Strong understanding of SaaS business models, accounting principles, and key performance indicators

Willingness to roll up your sleeves and get scrappy, while also being able to set and lead the strategic roadmap for the function

Excellent executive communication skills and the ability to manage and influence external stakeholders

Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships across all levels and teams

$230k - 280k base + equity
