Job Title : Electrical Technician

Job Description

As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for conducting, maintaining, testing, and repairing electrical / electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components. You will apply your knowledge of electrical / electronic and mechanical principles to determine equipment malfunctions and restore equipment to operation. This role provides skilled electrical / electronic support across various areas.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment, including programmable logic controllers, power supplies, motor starters, frequency drives, sensors, and gauges.
• Provide emergency / unscheduled repairs of production equipment and perform scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service.
• Advise operators and line mechanics on safe operation procedures and requirements for electrical / electronic and mechanical equipment.
• Inform management and line mechanics of potential electrical / mechanical problems and inherent dangers.
• Maintain performance and maintenance records for identified equipment.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Recommend spare parts and materials needed for inventory.
• Document and maintain daily paperwork in a timely manner.
• Assist maintenance personnel with technical troubleshooting.
• Comply with OSHA Safety, NEC, and FDA, GMPs, HACCP food safety, and Health rules.
• Help develop best practices / processes and training as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned or needed.

Work Environment

The team operates within four departments : juice extraction, processing, filling, and plastics. The work schedule includes three shifts with potential overtime, currently working six days with one day off per week. Shifts are as follows : 1st shift from 6 : 00 am to 2 : 30 pm, 2nd shift from 2 : 00 pm to 10 : 30 pm, and 3rd shift from 10 : 00 pm to 6 : 30 am. The work environment is dynamic and offers a variety of tasks and responsibilities.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of DEL REY, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00 / hr.
