Physician / Emergency Medicine / California / Permanent / Primary Care Physician Job

New opportunity for a Primary Care Physician to work in one of our Sacramento, CA, based facilities. Our Physician will provide services to inmate patients with a variety of chronic care issues within an urgent care setting.

We are looking for qualified Physicians who are available to fill the following shifts :

F / T : 8-hour shift from 2 : 30pm 11 : 00pm. This shift operates (7) days per week.

P / T : 8-hour shift from 7am-3 : 30pm. This shift operates 1 to 2 days per week.

Requirements :

Minimum Requirements :

1)Current, unencumbered CA License

2)Current BLS certificate

3)Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine or Family Practice

4)(5) years of experience following completion of residency or fellowships training

Desirable Qualifications :

1)For Internal Medicine or Family Practice-Urgent Care, Emergency Dept., or similar acute care experience

2)Experience with addiction medicine and / or alcohol and drug detoxification

3)Experience treating jail / prison inmates, or experience working in a Correctional Facility

4)Experience treating the homeless or medically indigent

5)Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish
